Frequently Asked Questions

What data sources can you connect to?

Any source with a public or authenticated API (YouTube, Twitter/X, Binance, Airtable, Google Sheets), CSV/Excel upload, or a SQL database you provide access to. One primary source is included in the fixed scope.

Do you use Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana?

No. Tools are custom-built as web apps (Next.js or plain HTML + Python backend). This means no per-seat licensing costs, no vendor lock-in, and the ability to add logic that off-the-shelf tools can't do.

Can the tool use AI to interpret the data?

Yes — an optional AI layer can generate natural-language summaries of the data ("Your top video this week outperformed the average by 340%"). This uses GPT-4o-mini and adds minimal cost per analysis run.

Who sees the data — is it private?

By default, the dashboard is password-protected and deployed to a URL only you know. If you want team access or public embedding, that's configurable and part of the Day 1 spec.

Who owns the code?

You do. Transferred to your GitHub on day 14. No licensing fees, no SaaS subscription required to keep it running.

Why choose Valdas over an agency?

Four reasons: Speed — 14 days vs 2–4 months for an agency's analytics project. Fixed price — one invoice with no hourly billing overruns. Direct builder access — you communicate directly with the person building the tool. AI-first approach — vibe coding with LLMs means faster iteration and smarter defaults. See the full comparison →
